Dexter Episodes summary: Watching Dexter episodes online, it turned out Dexter was not deeply shot in his leg, but suffered a large graze wound. It caused him plenty of discomfort, but was not so incapacitating that he has to explain anything yet. Doakes meanwhile taunted Dexter, telling him he only had two choices – kill him or let him go, and Dexter struggled with his biggest predicament yet.

The episode ends when Dexter kills his latest victim, a drug dealing, murdering contact of Jimenez’s, with Doakes just a few feet away, stuck in his cage. It changes to flashback of Harry walking in on Dexter killing Juan Rinez in the garage. When Harry saw what Dexter had done, he told Dexter to “stay away.” Doakes repeats the same phrase to Dexter and asks Dexter: “What Morgan what now?.

Dexter Episodes summary: Watching Dexter episodes online, Dexter notices that he is being tailed by an undercover car as he leaves Rita’s house, where he had fallen asleep in a lawn chair. He follows Harry’s Code and goes to his apartment to get ready for work instead of heading to the cabin to dispose of Jimenez’s body. LaGuerta tries in vain to reach Doakes on the phone to see why he stood her up the night before. Deb and Lundy wake up after spending the night together after they discovered that the Bay Harbor Butcher is probably someone in Homocide. After pillow talk, they end up discussing whether or not they should announce their relationship at work; Lundy believes in “full disclosure” while Deb appears reluctant tell everyone just yet. Their discussion is interrupted by a phone call for Lundy, and Deb and viewers are treated to a shot of Lundy’s bare backside as he hurriedly gathers items from his closet before heading for the shower. Lundy has to leave, perhaps for a break in the BHB case, and the issue of letting people at work know they are dating is unresolved. Deb later tries to let Lundy know that she is neither unsure or embarrassed about being with him, but notes that he is preoccupied with work (”something’s up”) matters that he does not reveal to her. Doakes is named the #1 suspect in the Bay Harbor Butcher case because Dexter’s “trophy slides” were found in his possession, and he goes M.I.A. Dexter is picked up by an FBI detail and taken to the station. Lundy and Matthews ask Dexter what the slides “mean” and end up making him the first forensic tech in the chain of evidence. A protective FBI detail is assigned to guard Dexter at all times. Matthews remarks that Dexter has more reason than most to want to get to the bottom of things. To keep Deb from becoming part of his layer of protection, Dexter tells her that he would be worried for her safety if she were near him, and urges her to move into her new apartment. Lila continues to try to get under Dexter’s skin by cozying up to Angel and reminding Dexter that she’s the only one who can accept him for who is really is. Dexter and Rita make plans to have dinner together and talk about a reconciliation. When LaGuerta approaches Deb and asks her to intervene with Lundy about Doakes, an over-defensive Deb blurts out the news that she is “sleeping” with Lundy as Angel and Lundy are strolling by. Dexter escapes from his protective detail by climbing out of his bathroom window and making his way to his boat. Doakes surprises Dexter as he is disposing of Jimenez’ dismembered body and they engage in struggle that leaves Dexter with a gunshot wound and Doakes unconscious in a cage in the cabin deep in the Everglades.

The murderer was one of Dexter’s victims. Dexter discovers Lila’s dark side. Debra and Batista discover evidence that the bay harbor butcher is one of the Miami police dept. officers (”One of our own”)

With both Lila and Debra staying at his apartment Morgan finds himself living with, in his own words, a cobra and a mongoose. After Dexter uses his key to enter her house, Rita tells Dexter that he’s no longer welcome to just drop in, even if it’s just to see the kids. Having decided that the Bay City Butcher has a background in law enforcement, Special Agent Lundy informs the local officers that all of their old cases will be re-examined by the Feds, but gives Deb the Rodrigo file to examine, explaining that since she wasn’t in homocide at the time, it’s okay. Deb is pleased by his confidence in her, and accepts Lundy’s invitation to dinner the next evening. Dexter is on the defensive and Lundy almost catches him out over one of his cases, that of Rodrigo (”sloppy blood work”). As Dexter helps Lila clean up her loft after the fire, he realizes that something is wrong with her story as to how the fire started. He also comes to realize how dangerous her obsessive behavior can be. Deb and Lundy finally have dinner together, and their friendly bantering turns into something more romantic. After Lila finagles her way into a bowling night out with the guys, Dexter has a close call when his mother’s killer decides to pay him a visit in the parking lot. Dexter decides to do what he should have done the first time they met. Sgt. Doakes, suspended for assaulting Dexter, breaks into his apartment looking for evidence and finds a surprise after removing the AC cover.

Dexter Episodes summary: While watching Dexter episodes online, the police think they have a break in the case when the Bay City Butcher sends a 32 page manifesto to a local newspaper. Only thing is Dexter had a very specific purpose in doing what he did, as the police now go off into every direction imaginable. With Sgt. Doakes having set his sights on him yet again, Dexter realizes that he’s going to have to play hardball to protect himself and so takes him head on. Rita comes to the end of her tether with her domineering mother. Lila sells a sculpture for a tidy sum and she and Dexter have a romantic dinner out. When Dexter tells her that he is going to a school event for Rita’s son, she takes drastic action to get his attention. Meanwhile, Deb breaks up with Gabriel due to her changing feelings for Lundy. She then decides to pursue those feelings unknowing if Lundy feels anything in return.

The bad news is that unless they can locate and stop him, the FBI will take over the Bay Harbor Butcher case completely. He also learns that he was videotaped cleaning his boat at the marina. Since learning that his mother was actually a police informant working for his stepfather, Dexter has been questioning his foster father’s motivation in taking him in. Rita’s scheming mother suggests that Dexter’s NA sponsor, Lila come to dinner. It all goes well but when Rita later learns that Lila accompanied Dexter on his recent road trip, she announces she never wants to see him again. Dexter and Lila find a new way to relieve Dexter’s compulsive urges.

Lila’s urging and as part of his ‘recovery’ Dexter agrees to face his past. He learns that only one of the three men who killed his mother while and him and his brother where in the shipping container is still alive and living in Naples, Fla. With Lila in tow, decides to face the man who has, as he says, taken his life away. Deborah is still seeing Gabriel but blows up at him when she sneaks a peek at his e-mail. Rita’s mother Gail tells Dexter he should leave, but when Rita hears of it, she tells her mother in no certain terms that it is she who will be leaving. Gail has other ideas. The police investigation continues and they narrow the Bay City Butcher’s marina down to three possible sites. Dexter decides to give his boat a thorough cleaning but doesn’t realize he’s being watched

Dexter begins to have second thoughts about Lila’s suitability as an NA sponsor and Rita encourages him to find someone else, preferably male. While the investigation into the Bay Harbour Butcher continues, Dexter hears that his forensic colleague Vince may have come up with a way to identify where the killer moored his boat. Dexter’s attempt to destroy the evidence doesn’t quite go as planned. Debra finally hooks up with the man she has been ogling at her gym. Dexter meets Rita’s mom who is in town visiting. She tells Rita that there is no doubt in her mind that Dexter is hiding something.

Dexter’s been unable to lie to Rita about his midnight activities, which has her thinking that he’s a drug addict. She’s threatened to leave him if he doesn’t commit to a 12-step program to deal with his supposed addiction. While in this recovery, though, Dexter meets a mysterious woman named Lila.
